About Us
Just in case you were wondering who was heading up Kairos W, its us! I’m Jenn (on the left), and to the right is my friend, Jeanne.
Though I’m originally from Palos Verdes, CA, I’ve fallen in love with the Bay Area since I moved up here to start as a freshman at Cal. My college experience, as it is for so many people, was a particularly definitive time in my life. It was in those first four years that I discovered an interest in Molecular Cell Biology & English, the joys of conversations at Caffe Strada, Minis at Yogurt Park, and thankfully, God. Now a pharmacist in the East Bay, my excitement for cell organelles may have waned some, but my passion for the East Bay, good chats, good reads, good coffee (and biscotti!), and Jesus have only grown over the years.
Jeanne graduated from Cal in 2004 with a BA in History and a minor in Education. She stayed at Cal (Go Bears!) to finish her MA in Education and is now a junior high school teacher. She loves to exercise, eat healthy, cook, and sing! And most importantly, she loves God, and is passionate about seeking to know God more and more.
We are both really excited to begin a new year with Kairos W, and anticipate many great things this year!
